Cheers Leaders, what a real waste of time being one is, just my opinion. Hope all you Mid-Western USA people are all away from flood plains, I hear that it is going to be a bad year. We have had flooding here in Ma., but being a rather hilly section of the country they don't linger like the Midwest.

We get floods here but my house is on a hill and the one I actually live in is away from any big bodies of water. My college is also on a hill so not horribly worried about floods. As for cheerleaders, they aren't all a waste of a person. I know my fair share and not all of them are. Some are, but not all.

I might have worded it wrong, I think cheer-leading itself doesn't really have any affect on what happens in the game. It is just eye candy for the male masses. I meant no disrespect to those who are cheerleaders.

when I was in high school ....I was an outcast (went to a religious school and I wasnt the right religion)....one of the cheerleaders in my class actually became one of my friends (she was also dating the basketball captain who was homecoming king of his class--the one right before mine).
so cheerleaders aint all that bad, some of them are snotty, but the few I knew were not only nice people, but also made top grades and were generally good people as well

woooot....opened the doors and let the .....bugs?

in....ah oh well, spring is here.

Fair enough RR. I have a good friend who is a cheerleader and I think I am someone who isn't/was never really a cheerleader who understands how strenuous cheerleading is. So ya, there are those that you wanna tell off but there are the nice ones as well.

I ALWAYS had someTHING to watch when I had to play in the band at the mens games.

(and yes our football team in college hadnt lost a game while I attended, while my hs team LOST every game in 4 years except one vs a newly formed team, and even then it was a close match!).....talk about blowouts.

wish I could enjoy the weather more--dammn headaches, guess its time to find out the cause-----

(made turkey pitas for dinner with a cucumber sauce with some greek name....)

I was just away for the weekend and Wednesday. I was over at a friend's place for the weekend and Wednesday was party day in downtown Boston.

Yesterday after work was clean up day in my basement. Damn you rain!

Luckily we had just a damp cellar, no water. Went for Chinese buffet tonight. Please remind me next week that 2 Scorpion Bowls are enough, but 3 is just a step over the line to silliness.

The women sports usually have women that are just way to masculine for me liking.

Had pizza tonight. I love pizza. BTW, speaking of sports I did go to a softball game today with a buddy of mine. His gf is on the team so we went to support her.

let's not talk sports, though it is getting close to my bed time ZZzzz...

made udon for dinner....was good, hubby got some burritos for me later (yummy!)....
never liked the chinese/japanese buffet...the food has been sitting out for waaaaaay too long for my liking (I like my made fresh--within the last 20 minutes)....have had a few bad experiences with them in the past.

did lots of cleaning today, my doc appointment went well so my headaches are not as bad.
bro-in-law had his appendix burst....guess have to get a card for him....

more cleaning on the list for tomorrow, and a trip to the post office....(gotta mail my taxes in).

We get to the buffet at 5 PM and it doesn't start serving until 5:30, so everything is fresh.
It is a small restaurant so they are constantly refilling the buffet. Going hit 70 today and then we get ready for more rain on Monday & Tuesday.
